Lumixa is a topical photoconverter gel that is applied to the skin then activated under a professional LED light to produce Fluorescent Light Energy (FLE) which generates multiple hyper-pulsed wavelengths benefiting both the epidermis and dermis. Treatments with Lumixa stimulate fibroblasts to increase collagen, target the intrinsic signs of ageing and reactivate the skin matrix.
Why Lumixa over standard LED?
A stand-alone LED treatment provides amazing benefits, however Lumixa generates a wide-spectrum of wavelengths, which ‘supercharges’ the benefits of a standard LED treatment by up to 7 times in a single 20 minute treatment. Fast and comfortable with little to no downtime, Lumixa FLE treatments will help repair, regenerate and energise skin.
There are 3 different types of Lumixa treatments depending on your individual skin type and concerns.
Lumixa Medi-facial @ The Derma Nurse
Our signature Lumixa medi-facial is combined with a pre-treatment superficial epidermal peel, to further enhance treatment results.
Lumixa is non-invasive with no down-time.
Treatment Protocol
The Lumixa medi-facial is ideal as a one off treatment to enhance skin radiance,. For best results a course of 5 treatments are carried out once every 7 - 4 days. Maintenance treatments are recommended once every 4 - 12 weeks thereafter.

Lumixa Collagen Booster
Lumixa Collagen Booster targets the signs and symptoms of Chronoageing: It is responsible for loss of volume, alteration of the skin texture and dry skin. Lumixa Collagen Booster can be used as a corrective treatment, improves skin density and provides a plumping effect.
Lumixa Age Control
Lumixa Age Control acts deeply within the skin by stimulating cellular regeneration and targeting the signs and symptoms of ageing.
Lumixa Skin Normaliser
Normalises, heals and repairs skin by targeting the signs and symptoms of inflammaging. Best results are seen after 12 weeks, however many patients notice an improvement after the first treatment.
